Today the Reception children have been learning
how to program simple floor robots called BeeBots.
They have had great fun.
Class 1 spent an exciting morning at Platform 3 soft play centre.
This is a fabulous first visit in the school year
for our Foundation Stage children.
It promotes wonderful personal and social skills building relationships of trust and support, confidence
and physical development.
As well as being great fun!
Autumn Term 2017
Inspired byTim Peakes' mission to the International Space Station, as part of their topic on Space, Class 1 have been engineering their their own mode of space transport.
Everyone from Nursery and Reception has had some input into this fantastic rocket.
The children used a wide variety of skills to achieve this including; designing, fixing pieces together, fine motor in cutting, maths in measuring and discovering how to draw a perfect circle to name just a few!
