Autumn Term 2024
Class 2 have been putting their ICT skills to very good use. We have been using a paint package on Purple Mash along with a word processing element to publish our writing about dragons! Everyone had fun and showed excellent ICT skills of logging on, navigating Purple Mash, typing and control of mouse.
Class 2 have enjoyed playing in the snow building mini snowmen!
Tuesday 13th October 2020
We thought about ways to help promote good mental health.
Not particularly in this order, but spread across the morning...
As part of this terms' Stone Age topic Class 2 spent an informative and exciting afternoon with Ro, learning about what life was like back in the stone age.
They viewed and handled a vast variety of artifacts, especially enjoying the flint axes.
Art work, wooden bead jewellery and fire making ( using fungi and animal poo! ) were all explored during the afternoon.
Pets at Home Class Visit
On Wednesday 27th February Cath and Kelly came in to talk to Class 2 about ‘How to look after pets?’
They brought in 2 Guinea Pigs, 1 Rabbit and a Rat. We learnt about the 5 welfare needs of a pet
We had such a great time as you can see from our pictures.
A huge THANK YOU to Pets at Home.
Toffee
This is Class 2’s little friend, who goes home with a different person each week. Toffee has lots of different adventures and comes back to class and tells us all about them.
We love Toffee x
The Three Billy Goats Gruff
In Class 2 we have been reading
The Three Billy Goats Gruff as part of our traditional tale topic.
The children have been showing their understanding of the sequence of events by acting out the main parts of the story. They had great fun doing so, as you can see.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
