School Uniform
Our school uniform forms part of the Orton CE Primary school’s identity, therefore we are very proud of our uniform and we encourage the children to be smartly dressed and wear it proudly.
Please make sure that all uniform and belongs are clearly named; we cannot stress this enough. We discourage wearing of jewellery apart from a simple watch (not smart watch) and stud earrings. All jewellery must be removed for PE, games and swimming for safety reasons.
The uniform comprises:
On sunny days the children are required to wear a hat for sun protection. This can be any type of sun hat but an Orton CE School cap as an option in the online shop.
For PE children will need;
Swimming kit will be needed when the children go swimming, further details will be sent out nearer the time.
Long hair will need to be tied back and all jewellery removed. Unfortunately, plasters cannot be used to cover new piercings therefore we encourage parents to take children for any ear piercings at the beginning of the Summer holidays to avoid any interference with any school activities. Children must be able to take their own earrings out for all sporting activities including swimming.
Uniform can be ordered from Sam Scott's in Penrith either by popping into the shop or ordering online by clicking here:
