HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME

Welcome to Orton CE Primary School; a school I am privileged and proud to serve as Headteacher.  Our children are so happy to come to school; they bring so much joy and fun to school and just love to learn.

Orton CE School is a very happy, safe and caring place with a very positive ethos and extends a warm welcome to all. We are a Church of England school rooted in Christian teachings and values, however, we welcome all no matter what their background, needs or beliefs.  We are very much a village school at the heart of our busy and thriving the community. Our whole school community is a family that cares for each individual.

At Orton CE Primary School we prioritise ensuring our children are happy; from a happy place children are ready to learn. Just as in the Parable of the sower the strongest and most productive seed grows on the fertile soil, our vision is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children to put down their roots to enable them to grow strong and flourish for their next steps into the world.

Our school vision, particularly our Christian values of Love, Forgiveness and Hope, underpins all our daily interactions and relationships with each other.  We believe in loving everyone whatever our differences and giving everyone a strong sense of hope for their lives and the future. We provide a safe space to make mistakes and we foster a culture of forgiveness when mistakes are made.
