ORTON CE PRIMARY SCHOOL VISION
During academic year 2018-19 staff, governors, children, diocese and local authority representatives and parents worked together to review our school's vision statement to ensure our vision reflected the special and unique place Orton CE School is for the whole community.
Orton CE Primary School is a happy place to learn, grow and thrive.
Our school vision is to be an excellent place to learn
Rooted in the Christian values of love, hope and forgiveness
Growing strong in a caring and safe environment
Thriving and flourishing to go out into the world.
Our vision is inspired by the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23).
We believe, as Jesus taught, that with the right ‘soil’ (an inspirational learning environment, inspirational staff and an inspirational curriculum) all our pupils (the ‘seeds’) have the potential to thrive.
Our core Christian values of love, hope and forgiveness create the caring and safe environment in which pupils and staff can grow and achieve their full potential.
Our vision is to ensure that Orton is an excellent place to learn.
ORTON CE PRIMARY SCHOOL MISSION
Our mission is to provide a positive environment for learning and growth which enables each and every young person to reach their potential and for them to aspire to be the best they can be, academically, socially, culturally, morally, spiritually and emotionally and well prepared for their futures as responsible and successful citizens of the World.
